Ferrari has started to offer its dealer network in Europe the possibility to add cryptocurrencies to the forms of payment accepted for the purchase of its cars.
The Prancing Horse, aware of the demand from clients for alternative payment solutions, is supporting its dealers by providing them with a specific platform. It was developed by companies with extensive expertise in the crypto payments industry, which are responsible for controls, compliance procedures and risk assessment.
Ferrari clients have thus the opportunity to buy our cars through this additional payment method, while Ferrari receives the sale amount in traditional currencies without directly managing cryptocurrencies. Thanks to a system that ensures transactions are fully secure, the source of the digital currencies is verified, and the volatility risks associated with exchange rate is eliminated.
After the launch in North America, the project is being expanded to Europe; digital currencies will then be progressively adopted – in the countries where they are authorised – by the international network of Ferrari dealers participating in the programme.
