June is one of our favourite months, highlighted by the thrilling 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Ferrari made its debut at the event in 1948 with the Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta and clinched its first victory. Since then, Ferrari has triumphed 10 additional times, most recently in 2023 with the Ferrari 499P.
To commemorate the 2024 Hours of Le Mans, we are showcasing several Ferrari race cars in our showroom, including the genuine Le Mans contender, the Ferrari 575 GTC.
The 575 GTC was developed by Ferrari Corse Clienti and N.Technology, enhancing the strengths of the original 575 M Maranello. It was modified to meet rigorous racetrack demands and specific regulations, such as a widened track and redesigned air intakes on the bonnet for better airflow.
This specific car participated in the 2004 Le Mans race under Barron Connor Racing, driven by John Bosch, Danny Sullivan, and Thomas Biagi. It completed 162 laps but was forced to retire on the 163rd lap due to brake failure. Since its participation in 2004, the car has competed in numerous historic racing events throughout Europe.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our valued client for allowing us to display this prized possession.
